Mass Graves - Forensic
The use of a "mass grave" for training purposes will enable students, both domestic and foreign to practice their skills in a safe environment. The mass grave will provide a training platform for, geophysics, forensic archaeology and anthropology, victim recovery/identification, International crime scene/incident management.
Because the "mass grave" will only include simulated human remains (mannequins) this will allow a "clean" working environment allowing students to learn various techniques for dealing with such clandestine disposal sites. These techniques could include, 3D Laser Scanning, Stratagraphic Evidence Collection, Resistance Survey, detailed Magnetic Survey and Ground Probing Radar as well as Photography and Disaster Victim Identification. Heavy Plant, and driver, will be available on site providing a realistic working environment. You can download a full PDF copy of IRTCW's Training Course Portfolio below
