Medical and First Aid Training

 

At the International Rescue Training Centre Wales, we can offer a comprehensive First Aid package, tailored to your individual needs. Courses can also be arranged at your own premises. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Courses on offer

• Health and Safety First Aid at Work (3 days) – either for the urban or remote environments
• Health and Safety First Aid at Work – refresher
• Emergency First Aid at Work (6hrs)
• Wilderness First Aid (16hrs) – for when further medical help is an hour away
• Remote Area Medic (24-40hrs depending on modules chosen) – for when further medical help could be many hours or days away

There are also ‘bolt on’ modules for any course: Oxygen Administration, Automated External Defibrillation, Cannulation, Fluid Volume Replacement, Casualty Packaging and Handling, Incident Management, Altitude Awareness.

Courses can be tailored to specific needs and environments such as Jungle, Polar, Desert and Altitude.

Courses can also be designed and adapted to suit the needs of our clients.  For all courses there will be a minimum and maximum number.  Quotes and prices can be provided once the course content has been outlined.
